On DSTM generally - do you also have LastMix installed ? With this installed you get a focused dynamically generated playlist which isn't random at all but instead is based on what you have been playing.
A while ago Michael added something to the Random Mix code to enable a sort of Genre based radio I have the following favourite (amongst other similar ones) as a Random Seed randomplay://track?genres=Jazz&dontContinue=1 which combined with the following settings in Random Mix 28923 creates a 5 track random Jazz playlist from my local Library After the 5 tracks have completed LastMix/DSTM takes over and generates a continuing Jazz based playlist from a combination of my local Library and Qobuz/Tidal/Spotify DSTM settings are 28924 LastMix works really well and doesn't require any set up apart from simply being installed. +-------------------------------------------------------------------+ |Filename: 2020-01-06 11_00_42-Server Settings.jpg | |Download: http://forums.slimdevices.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=28924| +-------------------------------------------------------------------+ VB2.4 STORAGE *QNAP TS419P (NFS) Living Room* - Joggler & SB3 -> Onkyo TS606 -> Celestion F20s *Office* - Pi3+Sreen -> Sony TAFE320 -> Celestion F10s / Pi2+DAC & SB3 -> Onkyo CRN755 -> Wharfedale Modus Cubes *Dining Room* -> SB Boom *Kitchen* -> UE Radio (upgraded to SB Radio) *Bedroom (Bedside)* - Pi2+DAC ->ToppingTP21 ->AKG Headphones *Bedroom (TV)* - SB Touch ->Sherwood AVR ->Mordaunt Short M10s Everything controlled by iPeng ------------------------------------------------------------------------ d6jg's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=44051 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=111435 _______________________________________________ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter
