Ah, bpa, thanks for the lateral thinking, yes that works of course. I never thought of that, so that's the trick if the station has a logo online, else CJS method can also be used.
For info, the radio.png stored in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Squeezebox\server\HTML\Default\html\images" seems to be the default that is used to overwrite the image. Anyway, thanks all (CJS, bpa, MH) between you all I think I should now be able to make most radio stations with missing logos display something useful.
