the setup I described is in the basement. The music room is one floor up on the main level. The RME analog output x 4 is via balanced cable to mono amps beside the speakers; the subs are powered, also from balanced connections from the RME. Two more NUCs are in other rooms with amps and speakers there. All controlled on the home network in browsers using Material Skin or Daphile and on Android browsers or Squeeze Control (Angry Goat Software). Of course, the DRC and cross over are only operating on the main room
