I first reported this (to Logitech) in 2007, shortly after buying two
SB3 units (Logitech were selling off the Slim branded ones for a good
price!). They agreed it was a bug, but did nothing about it (surprise,
surprise!).
Would you have a reference to this discussion?
Most likely this didn't get the priority you wished, because it doesn't
seem to be a popular issue. You seem the only one to be bothered by
this... Don't get me wrong: this doesn't mean it's not a bug. But a bug
which only one out of a million users bothers is not worth the time
spent. Ok, there probably isn't a million users. But you get the point?
