Respectfully, I have been running LMS on wifi for 10 years without problems. And have been using powerline adapters for a long time. I realize that hypothetically some of these setups are less than ideal and break engineering best practices, but unfortunately, in this setting of limited time and resources, "what works" tends to hold a lot of sway.
