It is a squeezeplug system (see
https://wiki.slimdevices.com/index.php/SqueezePlug ). This means it is
old. IIRC Squeezeplug became Max2play but Max2play has no image for
Odroid U3+. On the Odroid site, their latest image would be Ubuntu
16.04 which is over 5 years old. A quick google of the net - there
doesn't seem to be a modern image for a U3 except perhaps from Archlinux
https://archlinuxarm.org/platforms/armv7/samsung/odroid-u2

OK , so you'll need an update to system with proper SSL/TLS support and
use LMS 8.1.* if you want to keep playing existing services, install 3rd
party plugins and try new sources.

You have two issues.

1. A local network issue "connect connect to server".
2. A system out of date issue - a modern https (e.g TLS 1.2 and higher)
is now required for many internet services including LMS plugins and I
think Spotty in some regions. LMS 8.1.* is required for up to date
https support but it requires other modules such as IO::Socket::SSL
v2.06, Net::SSLeay and OpenSL 1.1.* and these modules are not available
for old OS releases(e.g. Ubuntu 18.* and earlier)

Assuming there is no hardware issue, it should be possible to sort out
issue 1.

Issue 2 - will be become urgent soon and it is inevitable. Your choice
will be either to upgrade and replace.

Since you have no local technical support. Upgrade could be hard as
you'll need help and be in communication with somebody who also has an
Odoid U3+ (or similar) or experience thereof.

The simplest solution would be to buy a Pi4 and install Raspbian or PCP.
There are plenty of Pi +LMS users on the forum who can handhold & give
real advice. Raspberry Pi's have good long term support - I recently
updated a Pi1 from 2012 to latest OS (Debian Buster).
