Do you have an outgoing log on your router ? If so take a look at the outgoing connections coming from the player's internal ip address You should see something like
192.168.1.x -> 207.7.156.10 TCP 3483 Accepted Do you see the player under http://squeezenetwork.com/player/viewPlayers ?
