The pin numbers constantly change internally by the firmware. The number is only used once upon registration. The scheme is meant to prevent folks from registering someone's else's device. It serves as a proof of ownership at the time of registration. It has no other purpose otherwise and the fact that it keeps changing after registration is of no consequence to you.
