I didn't work for MS or Google.  There were people on call 24 hours a
day in our data center.  If you didn't respond within a hour, you could
be fired.   If you are on call, you need to be available.  This has been
down for hours now -- unacceptable.

No one is asking for "instant recovery".  Just normal data center
recovery.  Which is within the hour or sooner.
