Well, there's also the functionality reasons, for example single user
interface, synchronized players, using the controller and not needing a
browser, etc.  I have four players at my house, and if i want to stream
Pandora or Rhapsody content to all of them and have it all synchronized,
well, the Squeezebox software and interface manages all that for me,
without me necessarily needing browser.
