In a stroke of curious (mis)fortune, I chose the moment just before the
outage to turn off all my wireless devices and reboot my router and
modem. So, when I turned things back on and nothing squeezebox related
would produce, it was so obviously a router problem that I spent the
entire duration of the outage trying to fix it...

Working fine, now (no thanks to me).
