I don't feel it's a stretch for someone who has a squeezebox multi-room setup to interpret that statement as meaning that you need a Touch or Radio to run the Spotify plugin but that it's still possible to utilize the core functionality of the squeezebox system which is synchronizing different players around the house (as indeed I did). You might feel it's a non-issue but strictly speaking they ARE lying (which I guess is my only point).
