Didn't want to annoy you, just wanted to point out, that for a normal consumer running betas (even 7.5.) isn't something I'd personally recommend. Testing if a bug has been fixed and reporting back: yes But running it for some more time: no As said: everyday I see my wife operating the Squeezebox which often gets me back into thinking how others (the majority?) see their Squeezebox. Whenever I run betas I get into trouble with my wife sooner or later ;) I will fix SqueezePad to use gzip, no problem there. I'm just used my everyday life in a company for banking software - and the changes you sometimes do on maintenance branches (like overhauling cometd) is something that'd never be done here on maintenance versions (even though we have QA). -- bluegaspode Big Screen for great Boxes available now at your AppStore: *'Squeezebox + iPad = SqueezePad ' (www.squeezepad.com)* - -now featuring streaming to iPad!- Want to see a Weather Forecast on your Radio/Touch/Controller ? => why not try my 'Weather Forecast Applet' (http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=73827) Want to use the Headphones with your Controller ? => why not try my 'Headphone Switcher Applet' (http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=67139) Setup: 1x SB-Controller+Receiver (Duet), 1xSB-Boom. 2xSB-Radio Server (7.5.x) running on SheevaPlug (Ubuntu) with attached Western Digital MyBook Essential. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ bluegaspode's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=31651 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=86269 _______________________________________________ squeezenetwork mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezenetwork
