OK. Last OT post for now:

Full Ack. I also use neon tube lamps only for lights where they usually
run for a long time, most others are halogen but the savings compared to
ordinary light bulbs are moderate, no real justification for banning the
latter.

But then that whole activity was only a result of lighting industry
lobbying anyway, after all they make _much_ more money on energy saving
lamps.
