I'd be surprised if most people will have discarded their hardware in such a short space of time. I know may folks are profligate by nature but there will be enough numbers of users who intend using their Squeezebox for many years after that date! I purchased mine with the idea of retaining it for a considerable time ahead. I know the box, in relative terms, is "cheap" but come on - why move on if it works perfectly well (rhetorical question).
With regard to MySqeezebox's demise, I have seen several threads that allude to a fix - one that bypasses the need for the former. One, I remember, suggested using some webspace, provided by one's ISP. Is there an easier solution? Or come to that, is there a preferred solution? Are there any good threads which highlight such a thing? It would be nice if there was a sticky that gave some definitive fixes. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ StridingEdge's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=57498 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=97353 _______________________________________________ squeezenetwork mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezenetwork
