Hey...
I'm network admin for a small school in Columbus, OH.
For content filtering, we're running squid and SquidGuard (squidguard
1.2.0 and bdb 3.2.9 )
We've the system set up so that all windows users need to have identd or
squid ncsa authentification.
It's running well so far.
The only problem is, that we sometimes just have the need to 'unblock'
certain websites, for research projects.
For that purpose, i wrote some scripts, that add domains/urls to a .diff
file for the temp-ok group, then update the db's w/ squidGuard -u, and
then restart squid (suqid -k reconfigure)
it seemed to work fine at the beginning, but now, i can't even unblock a
site when i do it manually, by adding it to the .diff file.
i added my acl parts of the filter.conf:
thegrahamschool within non_school {
pass temp-ok local-ok perm-ok !drugs !porn !proxy !violence !warez all
}
thegrahamschool outside non_school {
pass local-ok temp-ok perm-ok !entertainment !drugs !porn !proxy
!violence !warez all
}
Anybody a idea, whats wrong?
thanks a lot,
Patrick
