Firstly, I'd be really interested in seeing your scripts with a view to using them / modifying them for use in the school which I work for. As to your problem, are you sure that for the domains / urls that you are unable to block, an existing entry does not exist in the file, be it a subdomain or a domain?? ie For a domainlist file which contains: images.google.co.uk google.co.uk This will lead to www.google.co.uk not being blocked where as if the file were to only contain google.co.uk then www.google.co.uk and images.google.co.uk, indeed x.x.x.x.x.....x.google.co.uk would be blocked.
