Here's two features I'd like, and I was wondering if there were any
plugins that currently do this.

1) Ability to mark all the messages in a folder as read. A bit unusual,
but I have a backup folder that often gets VERY large. Marking messages
as read page by page is tedious, while doing a show all can actually time
out (and even if I increased the time out, the length of time required to
do this is unreasonable). So I'd like some method for just marking all
messages in the folder as read.

2) A way to quickly move messages to a Spam folder (probably user
configurable). I use "ifile" to handle spam, and it's a program that
"learns" what spam is over time. Occasionally it will misfile something,
in which case I just manually move it to the Spam folder and a cron job
later relearns what spam is based on the content of this folder.
(Actually, you can make ifile relearn immediately if there were a way to
execute some script in the background when I hit the Spam button, but
that's not necessary.) The problem is, I have a LOT of folders (I receive
a lot of posts from numerous mail lists), so finding the Spam folder in
the drop down can be quite tedious. It would be much nicer to have Spam
button simmilar to the Delete button that, instead of moving to the Trash
folder, moves to the Spam folder.

Any luck with either of these?
