No need to do a full re-install. I use symbolic links to make upgrading a
piece of cake. I have a symlink named 'webmail' pointing to my current SM
directory. I haven't yet upgraded to 1.2.11, so right now, I have a
directory named 'squirrelmail-1.2.10', which my 'webmail' symlink points
to.

When I get ready to upgrade, I'll simply copy the 'squirrelmail-1.2.10'
directory to 'squirrelmail-1.2.11', untar the 1.2.11 files over top of
that new directory, double-check permissions, then change my symlink to
point to 'squirrelmail-1.2.11'.

Very easy, and takes five minutes to do.
