Depending on when you d/l'd 1.2.11, the changes from CVS to release were
very few.  Y'all could just untar the new release and diff the /src and
/functions directories and make your own patch.  Watch out for things
like your own modifications to source files that you don't want to lose
(like if you have the msg flags and icons plugin).  You'd also want to
copy over (overwrite) the plugins directory to get the latest version of
the core plugins.  Actually, the remaining directories (except config,
since you don't want to lose your configuration file) can probably just
be copied straight over without much worry.  

But the suggestion for a patch is well taken.  Maybe post it to the
SM-DEVEL mailing list.
