you have got directory called serverfilters. It contains latest
development version of plugin. If you take a look at serverfilters
package, you have got there directory called serverfilters with officially
released version plugin.

Two directories. One called serverfilters and another one called
serverfilters. See the difference?

These directories have only two differences. latest version contains more
updates and does not provide precompiled filtercmd binary.

Think. If you are able to use packaged version, why can't you use not
packaged one.
