this is driving me batty.. && i don't mean the bat book;-))
if i am able to do a..
$ssh -l username -i identity.remotehost remote.host.com -p2310
just fine and am authenticated and able to grab x apps from the
remote system with a ..
$xterm &
or whatever yet when i do a ..
$ssh -l username -i identity.remotehost remote.host.com
which defaults to port 22 is redirected as you know and am still able to
authenticate thru RSA .. but when i do a ..
$xterm &
on the remote system that i am 'this time' redirected to that the issue is
on that remote system or mine? i believe it has to be the system that
i am redirected to from the firewall correct? since ssh authentication to
the firewall thru the above made up port 2310 works just fine but -p22
does not? well thanks for any insights as this is driving me batty..
