Hi all,
I've gone through only about half of the stuff people have sent me, along
with all the releases, and made quite a few changes to the SSH FAQ. I do
plan on making further changes, so bear with me.
What's changed:
- More information on SSH1 v. SSH2 (section 1.12, you know, the debated section)
- More information on OpenSSH and binaries available
- Information on setting up hostbased authentication for 2.2
- Some information on setting up user public key authentication
- Updated ports (the one on DOS, more commercial releases, etc)
- Minor corrections and link fixes
I have a lot more to do. But this information I put this time I felt
was too valuable until I rewrote the entire FAQ :)
As always, let me know if there's any corrections.
