One request for the documentation. This could go in the FAQ, but it should
be in a document that is included with the distribution. The README file
should point to it or include it.
The request is for a simple step by step writeup on how to install and get
started for the ssh-illiterate, like me. I'll even be glad to work with
you on such a beastie.
I have installed ssh several times, several different versions, from the
tar balls and from RPMs, and never gotten ssh working. I have asked for
help on the list and gotten no response. I do not know if I have done
something wrong or not done something. This sort of document would help
greatly to minimize those sorts of errors.
