I moved the original sshd_config out of the way and re-ran make install.
The new sshd_config file had:
HostKey /usr/local/etc/ssh_host_key
HostKey /usr/local/etc/ssh_host_dsa_key
#HostKey /usr/local/etc/ssh_host_rsa_key
and the openssh 2.5.1p1 worked just fine at this point.
Now on to upgrade the rest...
I THOUGHT this was the correct list - I found it via the openssh page and
MARC.
ssh is a protocol not just an implementation.
I appreciate all the responses. This list has been very spot-on.
