This _can_ be implemented in majordomo without much difficulty. (You
may recall that it's also present in Mailman, by default.)

These days, apparently not.
However, when one forgets how to unsubscribe from a mailing list, and mislaid
the original intro text, one might do one of the following:
1. Write to the list software ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) with message text
"help".
2. Write to the list software ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) with message text
"help ssh".
3. Search a Web search engine for search text "unsubscribe majordomo".
Any of those will get you the correct answer, immediately. E.g., the
second hit in Google is http://kb.indiana.edu/data/badv.html .
