I am using 8.6, up until a few days ago it ran fine. I tried t oinstall itunes with
the 8.6 patch, and that may have caused it. Itunes won't run even with the patch, so
I trashed all the itunes files. I also DL'd the Opengl files to see if I could get
the system to run myst3, but it was even slower in hardware mode (possible subtopic),
so I trashed all the opengl extensions. I did norton and techtool, fixed a few bad
dates, and other things (called major problems by Norton), and zapped the pram.
It ran ok last night, maybe this will do it.
