I've just installed a USB card in my StarMax 3000 with G3 Upgrade card (128
meg ram).
Using OS 8.6 with the most current Apple USB drivers (1.4.1 I believe).
I have a film scanner hooked up and it works fine for scanning small res
files. The problem I have is the scanner locks up when I scan anything in
high res.
I've heard recently on this list of similar problems happening with Starmax
machines using ZIP drives. (Large graphic files lock up the drive).
I've also heard suggested FWB software can be used to solve this problem.
Can someone please elaborate. What can FWB software do and how is it used?
