Thank you everyone for your suggestions.
Here's what I've tried so far.
Tried moving the USB card to the #3 position (furthest away) No change
same lock-up problem
Tried moving the USB card to the #1 position (closest to mother board)
same problem.
Brought my USB ZIP drive from work and tried it out. Single files load
fine. Large folders lock up drive.
Any other suggestions out there?
Does anyone have the same machine setup (3000/180 with G3 Card - 128 mg
ram) and get their USB card to work?
If so what USB drivers are you using?
Are there just some USB cards that will not work with a StarMax?
