I would suggest the same thing. My USB printer would always freeze when
printing large jobs. Drove me nuts for months. After I moved the card to a
different slot, the problem disappeared completely.
BTW, my card was in one of the slots closest to the motherboard. I moved it
to the slot furthest away from the board and now all is well.
