Hello all,

Ordered a flatbed scanner only to find that it is only USB compatible, so I just
ordered a USB card that says it's good to go with OS 8.5...what I have is:

4000/160 with a Newertech 260 G3 upgrade
OS 8.5.1
3 pci slots left open (1 slot has a video card for a second monitor, the other is a
SCSI card)

the specs on the Inland Pro PCI to USB card say:
        USB interface for devices side
Dual USB port (root hub and two downstream function
      ports)
      USB specification version 1.0 compatible
      Integrated dual speed USB transceivers
3V or 5V switchable PCI signaling
      PCI PC or Mac interface
      Supports advanced PCI commands
      Fully Plug & Play compatible
Fully supported by OS 8.5 or higher

What is your experience with USB cards and OS8.5?
how are the specs on the one I bought...?
What problems have you found...?

Thanks in advance...
Rob
