Hmmm.. The only Apple CD driver I have on OS 9.1 is Apple CD/DVD driver
version 1.4.3. So you are saying to removed this driver and replaced it
with the older Apple CD driver from OS 7.6.1 driver version 5.3.1?

You mean the Toast CD reader extensions version 4.1.2? I noticed that it
states that if you are using Apple's CD driver you will need to use 5.3.2 or
higher not the 5.3.1 you mentioned or you will have a driver conflict.

Or are you referring to the Toast CD reader extension 4.1.2 as applicable
here?

Just trying to get a clearer picture.

Did I happen to mention that this CDRW is an Adapti drive in my PowerMac
4400.

Any feed back on my thoughts?
