There have been a number of posts regarding use of ATA66 IDE drives in
StarMax machines, I don't have them right at hand but my remembrance is
that once you get the master/slave drive issue taken care of, and the
correct cable, there is no problem with using these drives.

How about the newer ATA100 drives?  My understanding is that all that
has changed is the increased data transfer in burst mode, but that if an
ATA66 drive would function in a particular machine the ATA100 will as
well.

Am I correct?  Or am I missing something here?
