Hi, everyone. I am not very successful with video editing -- my computer either freezes or I get strange breakup in images or my import/export clips play TOO FAST. Is it me, or is it the 40 bus limit of the Starmax?
System is: HARDWARE: Starmax MT 3000/160 upgraded w/Joe card to 320 mhz Max ram: 160 Voodoo 3 Firewire and usb PCI (Orangelink) (I updated all the drivers) SOFTWARE: MAC OS 9.1 (surprizingly FAST!!) iMovie 2 (Renders OK, camera controls OK, freezes on import/export) Strata Video Shop 4.5.1 (firewire works with preview, import/export too fast or breaks up) Should I give up on using my Starmax??
