Power supplies rarely go--batteries go at the end of their lives. If you have replaced 3 power supplies, doing the second should have made you suspicious. Order a fresh battery, find the old in the upper right corner held with velcro, and replace it.
Then put it all back together and hold down the cuda switch with the rubber end of a pencil for about 5 seconds--with the plug end in the back of the computer. Try it, you'll like it.
