The Geekysheep web site (http://geekysheep.tripod.com/starmax/) has some very good pictures of the Starmax's power plugs and motherboard (look for the links to these pictures). After you have looked at these pictures, you might want to verify that your P1, P2, P10, P11, and P9 plugs are plugged in to the correct plugs on the motherboard and while your in the box, it wouldn't be a bad idea to verify that your Video DIMM slot isn't empty or that the DIMM is tightly seated. As for your "P3" connector question; if the plug has a beveled edge then it is for a device (like a hard drive, CD, etc.). Don't sweat bullets that some of these beveled power plugs aren't plugged into something --- in a standard configuration, there will be some that aren't connected. In any case, go check out the pictures and I'll continue to mull over your problem.
