Ok The history of this thing is that it was left switched off for some time and then sold at a garage sale to me. I currently have the old PRAM battery off, and since I got it to power up once I will get a new one.
Since pressing the CUDA switch is supposed to reset to defaults, is it possible whatever settings where in the machine for the hard drive are now gone and it can't find the OS because it no longer has access to the hardrive? Can I get a rescue boot floppy somewhere? I am kinda stuck for the moment because the CD I got with the thing that I thought was OS turns out to be an OS update CD, and apparentlt non-bootable. -- Clendon > It means something is wrong with your startup disk to the point that > it is no longer recognized as valid.
