I have a StarMax 3000/180, running OS 7.6, 32MB RAM, 2GB HD. I am using it and a Pentium MMX-166MHz PC, also 32MB RAM, 2GB HD, running Win98SE together with a Linksys KVM Switch allowing me to share a monitor and a mouse. The problem is, for some reason, I am unable to share a keyboard. The PC recognizes the PS/2 keyboard, but the StarMax, though it does have 2 PS/2 ports will not recognize commands from the keyboard using this scenario. It further will not recognize a PS/2 keyboard when connected directly to it. But the PS/2 mouse works in either of the StarMax's PS/2 ports! So, as I said before, I am able to share video and mouse, but I have to connect an Apple ADB keyboard to the StarMax, which means I'm using 2 keyboards. This is no problem, as I simply put the Apple keyboard in my lap, which allows me access to the PS/2 keyboard as well, but I'm wondering why the StarMax will not recognize the PS/2 keyboard? I have tried several PS/2 keyboards, so I know the problem is the StarMax. I have also tried different boot sequences and reversing the KVM connections, all to no avail. This is not a major problem, but it is a puzzling one. If anyone out there has had any similar experiences, I'd really appreciate any comments/suggestions. The title of my email kinda sounds like a Nancy Drew mystery, doesn't it?! :-)TIA, Heather
