STFax will answer:
a) normally 1 ring after the ring you set within the prefs
b) depending on what you have the modem timeout set to: 5, 25, 50, 500?

erm? STFax doesn't get your caller id, the modem gets it! STFax simply
parses/shows the information that the modem obtains. If the caller id is
shown within the log, but STFax doesn't get it from the log, there is a
problem.
If the caller id isn't in the log...the modem hasn't sent the caller id
information, sorry.

Again, this is dependent on your modem - STFax parses the information that
the modem provides to it. ie. if the modem notices 'hangup', it will inform
STFax.
