Again, I doubt this is the cause of corrupted looking faxes - IMHO,
energy saving mode sucks anyway (the callerid function of the Solo won't
work with it enabled).

Hmmm... I use Executive too, and I have no special settings for STFax.
Maybe this has something to do with it. Anyway, I'll be performing
some tests with v3.8 this coming week.
