Yepp, you're right. After having a look at the specs

Well, I've loaded the sources and it seems they're ANSI C,
except some files which are in context with the local
machine and OS setup.
I've been in contact with Andreas Kleinert, the author
of the ak-datatypes (and some more), and he stated that
his TIFF-datatypes uses the LibTIFF.library, maybe you can
get in contact with him to include this feature to STFax.
