I already answered this, before:
"Basically, if you want the best STFax compatibility, stick to Rockwell modems
such as those produced by Diamond or similar."
The best bet is to stick with a Rockwell based modem, and luckily these are in
the majority (ie. most modems apart from USR and Zyxel modems are Rockwell
based).
