Hi all,

I am very new to Linux and I really want to stop use 'Windoze' for most of
my major tasks. (websurfing/e-mail/documents etc...)

So can someone please help me.

I am trying to install Storm Linux - Rain Edition, and I am having major
problems.

I have a P166 with 48MB Ram. I created 2Gb of space on my 8.4GB hard drive
to install. I made 1 succesful attempt to install, but had problem setting
up my display (it would only display at 640 x 480) and I decided to
reinstall, as I couldn't workout how to change it (I now know I could have
run XF86config to do it!!).

But now I can't even get it to install as it keeps hanging up. My last
attempt I used the text version of installation and when it came to
formatting the drives, it threw up a load of 'gobbledegook' and said
Aieeee then something about interrupt handler.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance

Debbie
