Thanks for this. In my BIOS there is no setting for PNP OS, but I have 
tried changing various PCI settings and still no results:-(

But what I find strange is that it loaded the first time and then when I 
tried again nothing, surely if it was a problem with my IDE it wouldn't 
have installed to start with, would it?

The only thing I have changed is I have replaced the memory, as I kept 
getting memory test errors at powerup!!

Any other suggestions?
