Help!!
I am still struggling to figure out how to install Storm on boxes with
dac960 (Mylex Raid Controller) as the only hard drives. There are no IDE
or normal SCSI drives in these boxes.
Is there any way to do this?
Debian provides a kernel with dac960 compiled in on the cdrom, so all you
have to do is run loadlin pointing to the compact kernel with the
appropriate parameters and you are off and running with the install.
I've been trying to use the boot disk image & compile a new kernel with
it, but even though I compile the dac960 in, I can't mount the floppy
drive or the CDROM. I think the default modules don't recognize my kernel
or visa versa.
Help!!!!
