I have sort of reciently come into the Linux world so I hope this isn't
a real stupid question. I just installed a Intel Pro/10+ ethernet card
into my Linux machine (which has never had one before). I set the IO
address to 0x310 and the IRQ to 5 and disabled PnP, I belive the correct
driver module is eepro.o. I am unable to get the system to recognise
the card. I know it works because if I boot to DOS/Win3.11 on the same
computer it will run. I'm am using modprobe eepro.o io=0x310 irq=5 to
load the module. It seems to work but then I don't know how to activate
the card.
Thanks,
Mike Cook
