I don't have an answer, but can state that I saw the same thing when I
installed Storm on a Gateway 2500 laptop.
Is your system a laptop or otherwise-funky keyboard?

Ok, here's a wierd one. After a fresh install of Stormix 2000
Professional, I have to tap my apostrophe (') key twice to make it show up.
If I hold down shift and press the key, double quotes(") come up as
expected. Does anyone know why I have to press the key twice to get a
single quote? The first press does nothing.
