modprobe rtl8139 returns Can't locate module rtl8139

Modules.conf under:
### update-modules: start processing /etc/modutils/storm
alias eth0 rtl8139
alias eth1 rtl8139

### update-modules: end processing /etc/modutils/storm

Also looked in /lib/modules/2.2.16-storm/net and found no rtl8139.0 file.
How can I get one?
Daryl
