Thanks Steve It has been done on a shoestring of course as these things always seem to. We owe a lot to several people including Steve Garrett, Tami Bond, Chris Williamson, Doug Hasbrouck, Paul Zhang, Tom Storey and of course Jeremy in Singapore who wrote the serial port software. Amazing piece of work which we will share on this list. We are still looking for a second gas analyser which will slot in beside the first which has only 4 'benches' (cells).
Except for the flow meters nearly all the parts on the panel came from Princess Auto ! :) One the keys is the drying of the gas samples 'on the fly'. The issue is we need gas measurements on basically a continuous basis and very few instruments can cope with the concentrations as well as the duration. Fortunately the hardware is advancing rapidly. Three of the instruments are Ethernet enabled. Pretty cool.
