For those who need to develop some sort of lab don’t hesitate to get in touch. I am committed as you know to >spreading knowledge around until it falls off the table. John D, do look up that little NDIR CO2 sensor. Looks promising.

Crispin,
I had a look, but am put off by the low range 2000ppm. I have already acquired sensors from FIGARO for my tester.
The sensors that I have are of the electrochemical type.

O2 - 0 to 25% _ creates its own voltage output which can be coupled directly to a digital volt meter .

CO 0 to 10000 ppm - creates a small current which needs to be amplified to volts through an amplifier circuit.

CO2 400 to 45 000 ppm - this is a module requiring a 5V feed giving off 4.5v at max range, - can be coupled direct to a volt meter.

They all have linear outputs. No logging device, JUST raw readings to be entered into a spread sheet. Total cost estimated at about $300.

I just need to find the time to build it.

John.
